Fiber Distribution Hub 3000

(FDH 3000i) series cabinets are

designed to organize and ad-

minister ﬁber optic cables and

passive optical splitters in an in-

side plant environment typically

found at the multiple dwelling

unit (MDU). ese cabinets

are used to connect feeder and

distribution cables via optical splitters in a ﬁber-to-the-premises

(FTTP) network application. e FDH product provides a vital

cross-connect/interconnect interface for optical transmission signals

at the MDU.

e FDH 3000i hardware and components support the architec-

tural ﬂexibility of FTTP, allowing fast and reliable interconnection

between equipment and cables. e cabinet provides mechanical

protection for cables, splices, connectors and passive optical splitters.

In addition, the product is designed to accommodate a range of ﬁber

counts including 72, 144, 288 and 432 ﬁber terminations, and sup-

ports factory installation of pigtails, fanouts and splitters. e FDH

3000i cabinet is designed for front access via a swing frame conﬁgu-
